Decided it would be fun to share my personal Art History broken up in parts according to the various media I have got to work with over the course of my life. Part one and two are focused on my number one, main discipline, drawing/illustrating and painting. My hope is to encourage and inspire budding artists of all ages and for those just interested in watching. Who knows, maybe someone will discover they are more creative than they ever realized.

Stick Men And Beyond

Anyone Can Learn.

Hi guys. If love drawing, painting or making art of any kind, you made have heard this line before..."I can only draw stick figures, I can't draw." If you have heard someone say that in response to seeing what you can create, what do you say to them? If that is you and you really feel that you could never learn to draw or paint, then this is for you too.

I have put together a brief video in hope to discuss the "Stick Figure" attitude and show that anyone can learn to make art. Anyone can learn to do anything for that matter. Needle-Less Knitting With Your Hands!

Never in a million years would I have ever thought of using your arms as knitting needles. Would you? Think about it, knitting needles may come in various thicknesses, but they are long, straight and usually made from steel, plastic or wood. As a kid I do remember trying to knit with pencils and that was challenging enough.
When my friend told me about how she and her ten year old son were making christmas gifts by arm knitting scarves, my jaw did kind of dropped..."How do you do that?" She explained it but I couldn't picture it until I Googled it and saw it for myself. It is something that I could never do because of my physical challenges, but if you can use your two arms together, then you can do it too!
Because I wanted to share these fun ways to knit without needles, I haven't had time to do my own illustrations so I borrowed some photos from others on the internet.
